Citizen has released two new Terra Force watches in the US. The AW1890-19B and the AW1890-51X are described by the brand as “purpose-built with field watch inspiration”. Both versions feature Arabic numeral markers, an outer minute ring, and a knurled crown.
The Citizen AW1890-19B has a textured white face featuring gray accents, while the AW1890-51X has a textured green dial with white indexes. Both versions have a silver colored stainless steel casing, measuring 41.2 mm (~1.62 inches) across. However, the AW1890-51X has a matching metal band, but the AW1890-19B comes with a dark brown leather strap.
These Citizen AW1890 watches use an Eco-Drive J810 movement. This enables them to be powered by any light source, removing the need to replace the battery. There are three analog hands, with the hour and minute hands featuring luminous sections to make them easier to read in the dark. Another feature is a basic date display, found in the 6 o’clock position. Plus, the impact resistant watches have a protective mineral crystal and are water resistant to 100 m (~333 ft).
You can now buy the Citizen Terra Force AW1890-19B and AW1890-51X watches at the brand’s online store in the US for $350 each. At the time of writing, deliveries are estimated for early February, with all customers offered free shipping.
