Casio MTPM305LC-1AV moon phase watch now available to buy in the US

Casio has released the MTPM305LC-1AV watch in the US. It arrives several months after the MTPM305MC-1AV, a metal strap variant, landed in this market. This model is described by the company as both “stylish” and “classic”

The MTPM305LC-1AV is a black dial watch with gold accents, including the indexes and hands. It has a silver tone, stainless steel casing measuring 44.5 x 34.0 x 9.3 mm (~1.8 x 1.3 x 0.4 inches). This is accompanied by a tan colored leather band.

Features of the MTPM305 include a moon phase dial in the 6 o’clock position. This is an illustrated, rotating wheel with 29 steps, indicating the current phase of the moon. In the 3 o’clock position is a date indicator, and in the 9 o’clock position is a day of the week indicator. The model has three analog hands for the hour, minute and second, said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month. Plus, the watch is water resistant to 50 m.

You can now buy the Casio MTPM305LC-1AV watch at the brand’s online store in the US for $135. That is the same RRP as the older MTPM305MC metal strap watches. A similar product, the MTPM305L-1AV, is already available in Europe, retailing for €119 in countries like Germany.
