The Casio MTPB145GC-9AV watch, an all-gold timepiece with a minimalist dial, has been released in the US. Already available in Europe, this watch has a retro design with a metal casing, dial and strap. It features three analog hands, as well as a basic date display.

Casio has released the MTPB145GC-9AV watch in the US. It joins the existing range of MTPB145 watches in this market, including the more recent MTPB145DC-3AV, which has a silver colored steel case and a dark green dial.

The MTPB145GC-9AV is an all-gold timepiece, which Casio describes as having an 80s inspired retro design. The watch has a gold ion-plated stainless steel casing, dial and strap. It measures 40.0 x 35.0 x 7.4 mm (~1.57 x 1.38 x 0.29 inches) and weighs 82 g (~2.9 oz).

Casio’s MTPB145 is an analog model featuring three hands for the hour, minute and second, remaining accurate to within 20 seconds each month. There is also a basic date display, showing the day of the month. This watch is water resistant to 50 m and should run for around three years on the SR621SW battery.

You can now buy the Casio MTPB145GC-9AV at the brand’s online store in the US for $140. That’s $30 more than the RRP of the older, silver tone watches, due to the gold-ion plating. The Casio MTP-B145GC-9AV watch is already available in various European countries, including the UK and Germany.
