Casio releases new watch with slim digital display in US

The Casio Vintage AQ240EG-9A watch is now available in the US. This gold version of the retro-modern watch joins the AQ240E-3A and the AQ240E-7A variants, which were released in this market in early November 2025.

You can now buy the Casio Vintage AQ240EG-9A watch at the brand’s online store for $94.95. Compared to the existing silver tone versions, it is $25 more expensive, due to its gold-ion plated finish.

Casio’s AQ240EG-9A is an all-gold model, with a gold dial, resin casing and stainless steel strap. The analog watch features two hands, both in gold, and a mix of fine black and gold indexes. Plus, the slim digital display, found in the 6 o’clock position, has a warm, golden hue.

The AQ240 is a dual time watch, with users able to view the time in a second time zone on the digital display. The screen can also show the date and the day of the week. Plus, it can show information linked to the 1/100th second stopwatch and the daily alarm. Other features of this hybrid model include hourly time signals and an automatic calendar.

The Casio Vintage AQ-240E-3A, AQ-240E-7A, and AQ-240EG-9A watches are already available in European countries like the UK and Germany, where prices start from £54.90/€59.90.
