Casio has released two new Vintage watches, the AQ240E-3A and the AQ240E-7A, in the US. The AQ240 is a new hybrid model, which was recently launched in other markets like the UK and Japan.
Now, at the Casio online store in the US, you can buy the AQ-240E-3A (blue-green dial) and AQ-240E-7A (silver dial) watches for $69.95 each. Both versions of the watch have a silver colored chrome-plated resin bezel and casing, and come with a stainless steel band with an adjustable clasp. Customers are offered a range of shipping options, starting with Economy shipping in six to ten business days for around $10.
The Casio AQ240E is described as having a “retro-modern” design, with rounded edges on the rectangular bezel, and a sun-ray finish on the dial. The model has two analog hands for the hour and minute, with accuracy estimated at within 30 seconds each month. In the six o’clock position is a narrow digital display, which can show information like the date, the day of the week, and the time in a second time zone. Other features of this product include a daily alarm, hourly time signals and a 1/100th second stopwatch.
There is a third model, the all-gold AQ-240EG-9A, which is available in the UK. It is unclear whether or when this version of the watch could be launched in the US. It is also worth noting that all three of these AQ-240 watches will shortly be released in European countries like Germany, with prices starting from €59.90.
