After months of rumors, Casio has finally taken the wraps off its AQ‑800EST‑1A, a Stranger Things collaboration based on the AQ‑800 that ties into the show’s final season in November. It has a themed dial, caseback, clasp engraving "001," and custom packaging.
The watch adopts the AQ‑800’s classic oblong analog‑digital layout and adds creeping vine graphics and Stranger Things typeface indices as a representation of Vecna’s influence, as seen across the dial art and promo imagery. The caseback is engraved with the Stranger Things logo, while the folding clasp is stamped "001," as a reference to Vecna’s tattoo. Packaging features Demogorgon and vine designs that go with the series' "Upside Down" visuals.
Under the collaboration skin, the model follows the AQ‑800 spec sheet: a resin case with stainless‑steel bracelet, 40.7 × 32.1 × 8.7 mm dimensions, 52 g weight, and "water-resistant" daily‑use rating, paired with resin glass. Battery life is listed at approximately three years on an SR920W cell, consistent with standard AQ‑800 variants. The band has an adjustable clasp and suits wrists from 150 to 205 mm according to the spec table. It retains the line’s dual‑time display, 1/100‑second stopwatch up to 59'59.99", daily alarm with hourly chime, auto‑calendar to 28 days for February, and 12/24‑hour formats; Casio quotes accuracy at ±30 seconds per month for the module used in this series. The hybrid layout shows analog hours and minutes with digital hour, minute, seconds, PM, month, date, and day on the LCD.
Casio previously collaborated with Stranger Things on other Vintage models, like the A120WEST-1A. Alongside the AQ-800EST-1A, another DW-5600 collab watch has also been unveiled, which has "011" stamped on it. With these new models, Netflix is now rolling out Season 5 promotions for Stranger Things. While regional pricing hasn't been disclosed yet, pricing in Japan is set at ¥17,600 (~$115). The Japanese and International product page both have a December 2025 release note alongside the season timing. If you want a Casio AQ-800 model without the collab graphics, you can check out the Casio AQ-800E-7A on Amazon for only $42.
