Casio and French creative agency Lorem have teamed up for a limited edition release called "Time Run," with street-art visuals on the recognizable geometry of what looks to be either the G-Shock GM-2100 series or the GA-2100 lineup, the latter being more likely. The drop consists of only 24 numbered watches for 24 winners chosen across a single 24-hour campaign.
Images from the campaign reveal a customized octagonal watch with a stainless look and bold, graffiti-style typography. The phrase "Time is Running - Keep Moving" encircles the bezel in all-caps, alongside bright hand-drawn designs running down the black strap. Every angle, including close-ups of the lugs and buckle, goes with the urban theme - "Since 1983," "Paris (XI)," and Lorem’s "©2025" mark are all present. The packaging - a traditional G-Shock hexagonal tin - is similarly customized with chalk-style graphics and the G-Shock logo front and center. Lifestyle shots see the watch placed at a Paris construction site and in street contexts.
Lorem is a Paris-based creative studio known for bridging the gap between brand identity, art, and physical experiences - its previous output spans brand activations, product collaborations, and public art installations. Working with G-Shock, the agency is seemingly channeling its signature graphics and urban-centric design language into a product meant for fans of both horology and the visual arts. The drop is tightly controlled - no clear sales link is present in the official caption.
Technically, this is a standard octagonal model - analog-digital movement, steel/resin bezel (depending on whether it's a GM-2100 or the GA-2100 model), water resistance, and a familiar layout. All functional elements should be unaltered, so the value proposition here is pure design and collectibility. What really distinguishes this edition is the limited quantity, integrated custom artwork, dedicated packaging, and the restricted distribution model.
