Casio has unveiled a new Standard model, the MTP-B195. Seven versions of this analog watch have appeared in listings on the brand’s international website, pointing to an upcoming launch in various markets.
The Casio MTP-B195 is described as having “sleek, angular lines”, featuring an octagonal bezel with a textured finish. The watch has three analog hands, said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month. The dial also features numbered indexes in the 12 and 6 positions, in a new font, and a basic date display. According to Casio, these watches are water resistant to 50 m, and should run for around three years on a SR920SW battery.
There are four MTP-B195D watches: the MTP-B195D-1AV (black dial), the MTP-B195D-2AV (blue dial), the MTP-B195D-3AV (green dial), and the MTP-B195D-7AV (white dial). Each has a silver colored stainless steel bezel, casing and strap. The MTP-B195L-1AV (black dial) and the MTP-B195L-3AV (green dial) have the same metal bezel and casing, but come with a black genuine leather strap. The final variant is the MTP-B195RG-2AV, which has a black dial, a rose gold ion-plated bezel, and silver and rose gold links in the metal strap. Each watch measures 46.5 x 38.0 x 8.3 mm (~1.8 x 1.5 x 0.3 inches).
The release date and pricing of the new Casio MTP-B195 watches have yet to be announced.
