Casio has launched the G-Shock GMA-S140-2A2 and GMA-S140-7A analog-digital watches in Japan. These two timepieces have a rugged design with resin casing and strap, each featuring “a subtle touch of color”.
The Casio G-Shock GMA-S140-2A2 has a matte navy body and face, with bright orange accents, and features dark background digital displays. Meanwhile, the GMA-S140-7A has an ivory white and strap, the same orange elements, and light background screens. They each measure 49.0 x 45.9 x 15.8 mm (~1.9 x 1.8 x 0.6 inches) and weigh 56 g (~2.0 oz).
These GMA-S140 series watches support world time, with 48 cities on offer, and the home city swap function can be used to quickly switch between two zones. There are features like five daily alarms, one of which can be snoozed, and a countdown timer and stopwatch. The two analog hands should remain accurate to within 15 seconds each month, and the two digital displays show information like the date and the day of the week.
In Japan, you can now pre-order the Casio G-Shock GMA-S140-2A2 and GMA-S140-7A watches for ¥17,050 (~$111). Here, they are expected to go on general sale later in November 2025. Plus, they will also be launched in other markets worldwide, as indicated by listings on the brand’s international website.
