Casio has released two new G-Shock G-Squad GBD-200 watches in Europe. Rumored earlier in 2025, this pair of digital watches is already available in other markets like Japan.
You can now buy the Casio G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 (black) and GBD-200-7 (white) for €149 at the brand’s online stores in countries like the Netherlands, France and Germany. These products appear to be shipping to customers immediately, and Casio ID members (sign up for free on the Casio website) get free delivery in two to three business days.
The Casio G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 has a black resin casing with orange accents, like a line on the lower button, with a matching black resin strap. The GBD-200-7 has a white resin casing and strap, with dark green accents. What sets these versions apart from older G-Squad GBD-200 watches is the positive mode, or light background, memory-in-pixel (MIP) display; older variants have a negative (dark background) display. Casio suggests that the lighter background improves the readability of the watch face, and this is further enhanced with the LED backlight.
Casio’s G-Shock GBD-200 watches have a range of training features, with Bluetooth connectivity allowing them to use your smartphone’s GPS for accurate distance measurements. They can also be used to track metrics like speed, pace, laps and calorie burn. Other features include support for world time, a 1-second stopwatch, an interval time and four daily alarms. These watches are water resistant to 20 bar, and should run for around two years on the CR2032 battery. It remains to be seen whether the Casio G-Shock GBD-200-1A1 and GBD-200-7 watches will land in other markets like the US and the UK at a later date.
