The Casio G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A watch has been officially unveiled in Japan. This limited edition watch was rumored earlier this year, with some leaked images revealing its design.
Now, at its online store in Japan, Casio has confirmed the specifications of the G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A. This watch’s design has been inspired by the tsuba, the hand guard of a Japanese sword. Each kuroganeiro (black iron) colored bezel has been hand-engraved by Masao Kobayashi, featuring a phoenix design. Four emeralds are set into the screws around the bezel, and the titanium casing and strap clasp are a bronze color. This watch has a black dial with a geometric pattern, and is accompanied by a dark green colored durasoft strap.
Features of this MRG-B2000 Series watch include radio-control (Multiband 6), support for dual time zones, and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to access some settings and functionality in the Casio Watches smartphone app. On-watch tools include a 1-second stopwatch, an up to 24-hour timer and an alarm. Plus, this analog watch has three hands, with an automatic hand position correction function, and a simple date display.
Casio’s G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A watch is scheduled for release in Japan at some point in November 2025. In this market, it will retail for ¥ 935,000 (~$6,073). The company notes that there are only 800 serial numbered units available worldwide, suggesting that this model could be released in other countries in the coming weeks. For example, the MRG-B2000RG-3A was available in countries like Germany earlier in 2025.
