Casio has officially listed the new G-Shock GA-B010 series for pre-order in Japan, confirming the previously leaked specs and features. The lineup includes three models: GA-B010-1AJF (black), GA-B010-1A1JF (black with blackout dial), and GA-B010-3AJF (olive).
All three GA-B010 models feature Bluetooth connectivity - making them the first in Casio’s 10-year battery line to add this function. Key features include automatic time correction, step counter with a 999,999-step maximum reading, world time for 38 time zones, and integration with the Casio Watches smartphone app for data sync and mobile-linked operations. Each watch also keeps the shock-resistant build and 200-meter water resistance.
The GA-B010 uses Casio’s Tough Solar technology for charging, combined with a battery management algorithm that greatly cuts down on power consumption. The step counter is now said to use 40% less power than previous models. A fully charged watch can operate for approximately 26 months on battery save mode. The main case, bezel, and band components are constructed from plant-derived (biomass) resin.
