New Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600 watches coming soon to the UK

Casio has officially confirmed that the new G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 and GW-BX5600-1A1 watches are coming to the UK. This new MIP LCD model has been rumored for several months, and recently became available to pre-order in Japan.

Now, Casio has added the GW-BX5600-1 and the GW-BX5600-1A1 watches to its online store in the UK. Here, the latter is listed with an RRP of £159; while the price of the GW-BX5600-1 is not given on the product page, it is also expected to cost £159, given that the two versions have the same RRP in Japan. These new G-Shocks are expected to be released in the UK at some point in November 2025, though an exact release date has not been provided. Prospective customers can use the “Available soon - sign up now” button on the product page to register for an email alert when they launch.

The Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 and GW-BX5600-1A1 watches have a black resin casing and strap, measuring 49.1 x 44.1 x 13.4 mm (~1.9 x 1.7 x 0.5 inches) and weighing 51 g (~1.8 oz). The GW-BX5600-1 has a positive (light background) MIP LCD, while the GW-BX5600-1A1 has a negative (black background) display.

Features of the G-Shock GW-BX5600 include customization options for the screen, with users offered a choice of two font styles and four modes. These radio-controlled (Multiband 6) watches offer Bluetooth connectivity for Smartphone Link, and support dual world time zones. Plus, they offer a countdown timer, five daily alarms and a 1/100th second stopwatch. Other functionality includes Tough Solar charging and 200 m water resistance.

It remains to be seen when the Casio G-Shock GW-BX5600-1 and GW-BX5600-1A1 watches could be released in other European countries or in North America.
