Alongside the ThinkCentre X Tower which we have already covered, Lenovo has also introduced the ThinkCentre X AIO PC during CES 2026. However, unlike the X Tower, which appears to be a standard Tower PC, the X AIO is a highly unusual product.
QHD IPS display with an interesting aspect ratio
A single glance at the spec sheet reveals a 27.6-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 2,880. This indicates a rather strange aspect ratio of 16:18, giving the AIO a nearly squared-off look. Lenovo claims that this was done to provide a working area that mimics two A4 sheets stacked on top of each other. There are plenty of workloads that might benefit from having vertically stacked windows, and Lenovo clearly has those in sight.
Powerful Core Ultra 300 chips with impressive iGPUs
In terms of specifications, the ThinkCentre X AIO does not wish to disappoint. The system will be powered by Core Ultra Series 3 processors, up to the Core Ultra X7 chip. Although these aren't desktop chips, they should be more than powerful enough for the vast majority of workloads.
The chip will be paired with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 9,600 MT/s, and the Arc B390 with 12 Xe3 cores will handle graphics. If leaked benchmarks and Intel's first-party claims are anything to go by, the B390 is likely to be as much as 75% faster than the Radeon 890M from Team Red. There is no provision for discrete graphics, which certainly makes the iGPU's role much more crucial. The I/O on offer is as follows:
- Thunderbolt
- Dual USB Type-C, triple USB Type-A
- Audio in/out
- HDMI 2.1
The lack of details regarding the I/O standards is definitely disappointing, as is the lack of wired networking. At least, more details regarding the ports should be available soon.
Of course, the display is a major component of any AIO, for obvious reasons. As mentioned earlier, the 27.6-inch 16:18 IPS display sports a resolution of 2,560 x 2,880, along with peak brightness rated at 300 nits and very last-gen 60 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo does claim 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, which might make it somewhat suitable for creative work.
Other features, pricing, and availability
Other features of the Lenovo ThinkCentre X AIO include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, 4K front camera with physical shutter, quad speaker, quad mics, and dual M.2 2280 slots for speedy flash storage (Crucial T710 curr. $170 on Amazon). Pricing and availability details are under wraps for now, but the product is definitely not likely to be cheap.
