Last year, Lenovo brought rollables out of the concept phase with the release of the ThinkBook Plus G6 Rollable. For CES 2026, the company has presented two new rollables, including one that leaked last month. Unfortunately, both the Legion Pro Rollable and ThinkPad Rollable XD are both concepts despite prior suggestions otherwise in the former's case.
Nonetheless, Lenovo has presented a functional Legion Pro Rollable concept at CES 2026 this week in Las Vegas. On the face of it, the device resembles a regular 16-inch Legion gaming laptop like the Legion Pro 7i (curr. $1,903 on Amazon). However, two motors allow the Legion Pro Rollable to extend its OLED display to 21.5 or 24-inches on demand.
While the rollable display does not contain a crease like a conventional foldable smartphone, the Legion Pro Rollable does not offer a wrinkle-free viewing experience. As the images above and below show, slight wrinkles exist as the display passes over and wraps around its expanding and contracting mechanism.
According to Lenovo, the Legion Pro Rollable also houses an Intel Core Ultra processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU to deliver a top-tier gaming experience. To that end, the concept also contains its fair share of RGB lighting. Whether the Legion Pro Rollable ever comes to market or reappears later this year at another tech conference.
