Lenovo has showcased a couple of concept products at CES 2026, and the AI Glasses Concept are among them. The company already sells AR glasses, but this pair isn't designed to work like an extended display for connected devices. Instead, the glasses can be integrated with multiple devices and act like an AI-powered assistant.
As the brand highlights, the Lenovo Qira powers the AI Glasses Concept, and it brings multimodal AI capabilities. The glasses can offer live translation and process the world around the user through the built-in camera. Lenovo says that the accessory is meant to offer instant understanding and context to what the user hears or sees.
Unlike some of the XR or AR glasses, these don't need to stay tethered to the connected devices with a cable. Instead, the AI Glasses Concept relies on a wireless connection, and they have a built-in display to give visual cues to the user. This, according to Lenovo, lets users stay connected without needing to keep their hands tied to a phone or PC.
Regarding the design, the concept glasses look quite sleek, but just like the RayNeo X3 Pro, there are some obvious giveaways that these are smart glasses. Even so, Lenovo was able to keep the overall design light, weighing lower than Legion Glasses 2 (available on Amazon), and the brand says that the build is geared for comfort.
Battery life doesn't seem to be a concern, as the brand claims that the AI Glasses Concept can offer up to 8 hours of run time. However, it's unclear if this rated runtime is considering all-time camera operation. Also, even though this is a concept showcase, given how frequently the brand is adding new models to its glasses portfolio, this pair could be a foundation for an upcoming retail unit.
