Cearvol has announced the Wave, Liberte, and Lyra for those with hearing loss. The NeuroFlow AI-powered hearing aids are designed to only amplify speech, not background noise, with designs that fit different lifestyles.

Cearvol has launched three products for the hard of hearing—the Wave in-ear earbuds, the Liberte ear-clip earphones, and the Lyra smart hearing glasses. The products are designed to suit different wearing preferences.

Lyra

The Lyra glasses can be fitted with prescription lenses, eliminating the need to hunt for a separate hearing aids in the morning. The Bluetooth glasses leverage NeuroFlow AI 2.0 amplification technology that separates voices from background noises using four microphones to boost speech from others speaking without amplifying the wearer's own voice.

The Lyra (OWS) dynamic driver variant produces a gain of 35 dB +/- 3 dB (FOG 50 HFA average) while the Lyra (RIC) variant adds a balanced armature receiver to produce a gain of 50 dB +/- 3 dB, with a frequency response of 200 Hz to 6,500 Hz. Its replaceable lithium battery has a rated runtime of up to 14 hours, according to the company.

Liberte

The Liberte open-ear, ear-clip earphones eliminate the discomfort of sticking earbuds into ear canals while allowing wearers to hear their surroundings at all times for safety. The Bluetooth earphones leverage four microphones like the Lyra for AI voice amplification.

The ear-clips use dynamic drivers to produce a gain of 30 dB +/- 5 dB, with a frequency response of 200 Hz to 6,000 Hz. The Liberte has a rated runtime of up to 30 hours with the charging case.

Wave

The Wave earbuds also use four microphones for AI voice amplification. Their in-ear design blocks surrounding noise, enabling a greater AI voice amplification gain of 40 dB +/- 5 dB. The earbuds use balanced armature drivers with a frequency response of 200 Hz to 6,000 Hz. The Wave has a rated runtime of up to 22 hours with the charging case.

The charging case has a built-in LCD touchscreen that enables full control of the earbud settings without using a smartphone app. For input flexibility, the case can be used as a remote microphone that can be placed up to 10 meters (33 ft.) away to better hear others in large meetings and lecture halls. An AUX-IN port allows owners to connect the case to wired audio sources to hear wirelessly through the Wave earbuds.

Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.

Readers who own the Apple AirPods Pro 3 (sold here on Amazon) can enable its hearing aid feature to hear others better.
