The IdeaPad Pro 5i has been refreshed at CES 2026, and the new model comes with relatively beefy specs for the audience Lenovo is targeting. To be specific, the top-end configuration of the laptop features the Core Ultra X9 388H, a performance-focused CPU from the Intel Panther Lake lineup.
This Intel CPU can be paired with the Nvidia RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, and such a configuration will allow users to smoothly get through creative works and performance-demanding tasks. Such a setup can even handle smooth AAA gaming at the 1440p resolution.
Speaking of which, the refreshed IdeaPad Pro 5i can be configured with up to a 16-inch OLED display that features a resolution of 2880x1800 pixels. Per Lenovo, this panel has a 100% DCI-P3 color coverage and has DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 certification.
While the Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i has a relatively thin and lightweight design, it comes with a decent selection of ports. More specifically, the port configuration is as follows:
- 2x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 2x Thunderbolt 4 (4-feet Silkland cable curr. $19.99 on Amazon)
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 1x SD card reader
- 1x 3.5 mm audio
For wireless connectivity, the laptop has Bluetooth 5.4 and up to WiFi 7. Other notable highlights include two M.2 slots for SSDs, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to a 99 Wh battery. Lenovo notes that the Panther Lake IdeaPad Pro 5i will be available from Q2 2026, and the expected starting price is $1,699.
