Lenovo has officially unveiled the ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6, a new AIO that can be equipped with up to a Ryzen AI 300 series APU. The company didn't specifically specifically mention the processor options, but given the all-in-one is for productivity and office tasks, Strix Point APUs are likely out of the list.
Of course, Lenovo did share that the APU of the ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6 can be paired with up to a 32 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MHz. As for the storage, the AIO has only one M.2 PCIe slot for SSD, which can be equipped with up to a 1 TB drive (1 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus curr. $74.99 on Amazon).
On the front, the AIO PC comes with a 23.8-inch IPS display that features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Lenovo notes that the screen has a 100 Hz refresh rate, a brightness rating of 250 nits, and can cover 99% of the sRGB space. All these specs make the panel more than good enough for day to day tasks and entertainment.
While the ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6 has a slim and compact design, it comes with a decent selection of ports, including:
- 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
- 1x headphone and mic combo
- 1x HDMI-in
- 1x HDMI-out
- 1x Ethernet LAN
Other highlights of the AIO include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a built-in 5 MP webcam with Smart Meeting Tools, and two 3-watt Harman speakers with Dolby Audio. The ThinkCentre neo 55a Gen 6 is now available with a starting price of $549.
