Asus ExpertCenter D7 SFF PC offers Intel Alder Lake and Nvidia GeForce GT 730 or Quadro T600 combination for businesses

Asus has launched a new small form factor (SFF) PC aimed at business in finance, retail, manufacturing, and other industries. Named the ExpertCenter D7 (D700SD), this SFF's chassis is made from a process called Steel Electrodeposition Cold Common (SECC) that meets MIL-STD-810H standards.

Asus said that the ExpertCenter D7 is built with durability in mind with custom-designed Asus B660 motherboards that use 100% solid state capacitors. The PC uses a tool-free design to allow for easy maintenance and upgrades.

Buyers can configure the Asus ExpertCenter D7 with a variety of Intel Alder Lake processor options right from the Celeron G900 all the way to the Core i7-12700. Memory options include up to 128 GB of dual-channel DDR4-3200 RAM.

While Alder Lake CPUs offer an integrated UHD Graphics 770, it is also possible to equip the SFF PC with several dGPU options. However, given its niche application, do not expect a high-end Ampere or RDNA 2 card.

Asus allows configuring the ExpertCenter D7 with either the Nvidia GeForce GT 730 (Kepler), GeForce GT 1030 (Pascal), or the Nvidia T600 (Turing). Only the T600 allows connecting up to four displays via mini DisplayPorts.

A total of 11 USB ports are available along with a smart card reader, optional SD card reader, optional parallel port, and optional serial port to cater to various industrial applications. The PC also comes with an optical drive. An 80 PLUS Platinum or 80 PLUS Bronze PSU is provided to meet EPEAT Silver rating standards.
