LeTV Super TV F50 Pro 4K arrives as cheaper model with 96.6% screen-to-body ratio

LeTV has launched the F50 Pro TV in China for 1,349 yuan (~US$190). The 4K HDR UHD device has a 96.6% screen-to-body ratio and up to 300 nits brightness. With built-in 8W speakers and a microphone, you can control the gadget with voice commands and connect external devices via HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 ports.

The LeTV Super TV F50 Pro has been launched in China. The 50-in (~127 cm) TV has a thin bezel with a 96.6% screen-to-body ratio. The 4K HDR ultra HD gadget has a 3,840 x 2,160 px resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate and an 8 ms response time. The display has up to 300 nits brightness and a 1:5000 contrast ratio. Plus, the screen covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, producing around 1.07 billion colors, with image quality enhancement tools, including MDIC 3D motion compensation and DNLP.

The F50 Pro TV has a built-in 8 W speaker system and supports connection to external audio devices. Running on Android TV, the gadget is powered by a quad-core A55 processor, with a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU and 2 GB + 16 GB of storage. You can connect to the device via HDMI 2.0 and USB 2.0 ports and control it with an accompanying remote. Alternatively, you can control the device with voice commands; for example, you can adjust the volume, check the weather forecast and translate words using the tool.

You can currently buy the LeTV Super TV F50 Pro in China for 1,349 yuan (~US$190). It is unclear if this price will increase at a later date, or whether the device could launch in other markets. This product launch follows the announcement that LeTV has auctioned 908 of its trademarks.
