The Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 Portable Projector is a new gadget from the brand. The device is similar to the recently released but more expensive CO-FH02. Both products have a 3,000 lumens light source, expected to last for up to 12,000 hours, and advanced 3LCD technology to display 100% of the RGB color signal.
The CO-W01 has a lower native resolution of 1,280 x 800 px, with a 16:10 aspect ratio. You can throw images from 33-in to 378-in (~84 to 960 cm) as the device has a 1.27 to 1.71 throw ratio. Like the CO-FH02, the CO-W01 has a built-in 5 W speaker; however, it does not have the bass reflex technology used in the other model. The portable projector can run quietly, producing 29 dB of fan noise in eco mode or 38 dB of noise in Normal Mode.
You can connect devices such as an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Apple TV 4K to the projector via HDMI and USB ports. Plus, you can perfect the images with vertical and horizontal keystone correction up to 30° in each direction. The cheaper gadget is also slightly smaller, measuring 11.6 x 3.4 x 8.3-in (~29.5 x 8.6 x 21.1 cm) and weighing 5.3 lbs (~2.4 kg). You can buy the Epson EpiqVision Flex CO-W01 Portable Projector for US$429.99.
