MagyarXiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner 2 hp announced with voice commands
Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Air Conditioner 2 hp in China. The device is designed to cover an area of 20 to 30 m² (~215 to 323 ft²) in size with an up to 2 hp output, as its name suggests. The gadget can cool and heat your room across a wide temperature range, with 1,850 W of heating and 1,650 W of cooling power. According to the company, the gadget pushes cool air higher into the room than other models.
Hot air is blown towards the floor for a "warm carpet effect", or you can use surround mode to push air upwards and downwards simultaneously. You can control the device via the Mijia app or Xiao AI voice commands. The Mijia smart home system compatibility allows you to link the air conditioner to other gadgets, such as the Mijia Thermohygrometer. The device is partially self-cleaning and can send you reminders to clear the filter via the smartphone app.
The internal unit measures 999 x 308 x 210 mm (~39.3 x 12.1 x 8.3-in), while the external unit measures 860 x 551 x 331 mm (~33.9 x 21.7 x 13.0-in). You can currently pre-order the white Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner 2 hp in China for 2,699 yuan (US$379) with a 100 yuan (US$14) deposit. After this initial pre-sale period, the smart home gadget is expected to retail for 2,999 yuan (US$421).
