Huawei previews Vision Smart Screen 75-inch and 86-inch Smart TVs with 120 Hz refresh rates
Huawei has previewed more Smart TVs, having recently presented the Vision Smart Screen Z65 Gaming Edition. Teased on Weibo, both TVs will sit within its Vision Smart Screen series. While Huawei has not listed either Smart TV on its website yet, its Weibo preview outlines numerous features.
For one, Huawei is expanding its Vision Smart Screen series with 75-inch and 86-inch models. Predictably, both run HarmonyOS 3, the latest version of its in-house operating system. Additionally, both models will launch with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, theoretically enough space for plenty of streaming services. Since both models are Smart TVs, they will ship with built-in TV tuners, too.
Moreover, Huawei claims that each Smart TV will have 120 Hz panels that support Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation (MEMC), for better or worse. Separately, Huawei boasts that both models will cover up to 92% of the DCI-P3 colour space and will feature just 2.7 mm-thick bezels for up to 98% screen-to-body ratios. Huawei will launch its new Vision Smart Screen models on October 14. According to the company's Weibo post, the Vision Smart Screen 75 will debut for CNY 5,999 (~US$842), which is considerably cheaper than the Vision Smart Screen 86's price of CNY 9,499 (~US$1,334). Huawei has not commented on a global launch yet.
