Based on new reports, Huawei plans to release more devices this month, not long after launching the Mate 50 Pro globally. Supposedly, Huawei is ready to announce the Watch GT Cyber, a smartwatch that Huawei Ailesi leaked two months ago. Unfortunately, concrete details about the Watch GT Cyber have not surfaced yet.
However, its name confirms that it will sit as another flagship smartwatch within Huawei's product line. Additionally, 'Cyber' implies that there will be some futuristic elements to it in one way or another. For example, Huawei has already released the Watch GT Runner, a lightweight alternative to the Watch GT 3 that it markets to marathon runners.
Incidentally, the same report claims that the Watch GT Cyber will launch with the P50 Pocket New. Surprisingly, the device is expected to rely on the Snapdragon 778G rather than the Snapdragon 888 4G powering the current model. Hence, it would seem that Huawei will position the P50 Pocket New as a cheaper alternative to its namesake. Currently, the pair is rumoured to launch on October 25, albeit perhaps only in China. Typically, Huawei waits a few months to launch devices globally, as is proving the case with the Watch D.
