The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Ceiling Light Pro for the bedroom and living room are now available to pre-order in China. The living room model comprises two rectangular panels, while the bedroom panel is round, both surrounded by a silver metal bar with an integrated light strip. Each product has a color rendering of Ra95 and a wide temperature range of 2,700 to 6,000 K.
The 140 W living room light can provide up to 10,000 lumens brightness and is suitable for a 50 m² (~538 ft²) space. The smaller 55 W bedroom light has up to 3,700 lumens brightness, with a night mode to provide a softer light. You can control the settings of the lights with Xiao AI voice commands or via the Mijia app, with a sliding scale for both color and brightness levels. Plus, Mijia smart home system compatibility enables you to link the light to other devices; for example, you could set the light to switch on when motion is detected, or a smart door is unlocked.
The living room model measures 600 x 900 mm (~23.6 x 35.4-in), while the bedroom version is 447 mm (~17.6-in) wide. The Mijia Smart Ceiling Light Pro bedroom and living room models are currently available to pre-order in China for 549 yuan (~US$76) and 1,099 yuan (~US$153), respectively. After this pre-sale period, the gadgets are expected to retail for 599 yuan (~US$83) and 1,199 yuan (~US$167).
