Hands-on leaks concerning the Xiaomi 13 series are starting to mount up. Little over a week has passed since an alleged image of the Xiaomi 13 or the Xiaomi 13 Pro emerged, seemingly a prototype unit considering the 'Laser' lettering that Xiaomi had included in the device's camera housing. For context, Xiaomiui claimed to have obtained an image of the Xiaomi 13 Pro's display, which surfaced in September.
Now, TechGoing has published a third hands-on photo that it asserts is of the Xiaomi 13 Pro in a lighter shade of silver in which Xiaomi offers the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Currently, Xiaomi is rumoured to have created the Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro and the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, mirroring the Xiaomi 12S series. Unsurprisingly, the device bears 'Leica' branding, with Xiaomi and the camera specialist announcing an ongoing cooperation earlier this year. Sadly, the leaked photo contains too much image noise to determine the text beneath the Leica lettering, which would have revealed a few camera specifications.
Regardless, the device shown has three rear-facing cameras with two lenses that are significantly larger than the third. Reputedly, one of these lenses protects the Sony IMX989, a 1-inch camera sensor that debuted in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. Additionally, Xiaomi is expected to have equipped the Xiaomi 13 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, along with a Samsung E6 AMOLED display and 120 W fast charging. Rumoured to be on track for a November release in China, the Xiaomi 13 Pro should match its predecessor with a 1440p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate too.
