Complete datasheets for three Redmi Note 12 series models have leaked, roughly a day before their introduction. Consisting of the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, the trio all feature enticing specifications. For some reason, the Redmi Note 12 is missing, which is expected to be the fourth initial member in the Redmi Note 12 series.

Xiaomi has already confirmed that it has set aside tomorrow for the launch of the Redmi Note 12 series, which will also be joined by at least the Book Air 13. However, almost all specifications for the former have now leaked on Weibo, courtesy of several datasheets. Surprisingly, only three Redmi Note 12 series models have leaked, with the regular Redmi Note 12 absent for some reason. Instead, datasheets for just the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition have surfaced.

Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi has distinguished the three models in various areas. As the screenshots below highlight, only the Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition offers 210 W fast charging, which is slated to fully recharge the device's 4,300 mAh battery in a mere 9 minutes. As expected, the two lesser models offer 67 W and 120 W fast charging, respectively. Likewise, the Redmi Note 12 Pro misses out on the ISOCELL HPX, a new 200 MP camera sensor. Conversely, the device makes do with a 50 MP primary camera in the form of the Sony IMX766.

In saying that, all models appear to rely on identical 6.67-inch OLED displays that output at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the trio features LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 flash storage, which are both comparatively outdated at this point. Furthermore, no model offers more than 12 GB of RAM or 256 GB of storage. Confusingly, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is limited to 8 GB of RAM, 4 GB less than its siblings. Sadly, Xiaomi will pre-install Android 12 in all models too, rather than the newer Android 13. Based on the Redmi Note 11 series' release, this will also hold for when the Redmi Note 12 launches globally in 2023 too.
