Nvidia seems to have upped the supply of RTX 50 GPUs like the RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5060 Ti according to a new leak shared by Moore's Law Is Dead. If true, the RTX 50 stock situation might improve in the coming days.

It is not a good time to be a fan of PC gaming. Between tariffs, melting power cables, and debilitating stock shortages, gamers have found it difficult to remain hopeful this year. If that wasn’t enough, Nvidia has made the situation even worse by trying to sell gamers an 8 GB VRAM RTX 5060 Ti 2025.

So, will PC gaming ever be as exciting as it was before 2020? While we don’t have an answer to this question, we do have some information that might give grief-stricken gamers a bit of hope.

The information we are referring to comes to us via Moore’s Law Is Dead. The leaker claims that, per one of his “Major Online Retailer” sources, Nvidia has suddenly increased the supply of RTX 50 GPUs. The source allegedly mentioned that the retailer received “about 10x as many Blackwell cards as usual” on Friday, April 18, 2025. The GPUs that were restocked include RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, and “some” RTX 5080 cards. The source also reported no RTX 5090 were delivered, so the GPU still appears to be a unicorn.

Interestingly, Nvidia reportedly didn’t send any RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB GPUs to the retailer. Seeing as how terribly the GPU has been received, it makes sense for Nvidia to hold off on supplying the RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB. It is entirely possible that Nvidia could have diverted this RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB supply to system integrators who can more easily move the GPU as part of a pre-built machine. But, this is pure speculation on our part.

Moving on, MLID suggests that this RTX 50 restock is not limited to one retailer alone, as another retail source alleged a resupply of “couple hundred” RTX 50 GPUs, while the retailer seemingly only gets around 10-30 usually. The source also claimed that a different location of the retailer also got more than a hundred cards.

In other words, Nvidia seems to have massively increased the supply of the RTX 50 Blackwell cards to retailers. It remains to be seen whether this was a one-off or retailers continue to get restocks of similar magnitude moving forward. We hope it's the latter, as it will feed the demand and help in lowering the overall prices of the current-gen GPUs.
