While the Radeon RX 9060 XT is all set to be shown off in late-May, AMD has yet another mid-ranger on the cards that sits between the RX 9070 and RX 9060 XT. Thanks to Videocardz, we now have the full specifications of AMD's Radeon RX 9070 GRE.
The Radeon RX 9070 GRE will launch with 12 GB of 18 Gbps VRAM on a 192-bit bus (432 GB/s memory bandwidth), a Navi 58 GPU with 3,072 Steam Processors (48 CUs), and a boost clock of 2.79 GHz. Its power draw is unknown, but it should be lower than the 220 Watts demanded by the RX 9070 XT.
Based on these specs, we can expect it to perform on par with a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti or maybe even a RTX 5060 Ti in some titles. Depending on its price, it will face competition from Intel's Arc B580, which launched last year with similar specs.
There's a good chance the Radeon RX 9070 GRE will be launched alongside the Radeon RX 9060 XT at Computex. Like the Radeon RX 7650 GRE and RX 7900 GRE that came earlier, it might be restricted to China. But, both SKUs eventually found their way to global markets via unofficial channels, and it is only a matter of time before the RX 9070 GRE follows suit.
