For years, Google has introduced new Pixel phones alongside a series of themed wallpapers that complement each model's colourways. For instance, the Google Pixel 7’s wallpapers featured feathers, the Pixel 8 had various images of geodes, and the Pixel 9 (approx. $679 on Amazon) embraced creative floral patterns.
A leaker known as Mystic Leaks recently shared what are supposedly wallpapers for the Google Pixel 10 series. These images appear to show glass or lenses reflecting colourful light. The Pixel 10 will apparently ship with significantly more vivid background images, suggesting that the base model may once again be offered in much bolder colourways. However, due to the vibrant mix of hues, it's difficult to predict the exact colour options.
By contrast, the wallpapers for the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL primarily feature beige, green, blue and black tones, indicating that Google favours lower-key colours for the flagships, such as dark blue, over brighter shades like pink. As always, such early leaks from lesser-known sources should be taken with a grain of salt. According to a previous report, Google isn’t expected to give the Pixel 10 series a major design overhaul. Besides an upgrade to Google’s Tensor G5 ARM chip, the base model will reportedly receive a dedicated telephoto camera, though this comes at the price of a considerably smaller main camera sensor.
