Google’s Pixel 10 series is expected in October this year with four new models, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. There have been quite a few leaks and rumor surrounding these phones, hinting at the possible specifications, but a new report talks about the pricing for the upcoming models. It claims that the Pixel 10 Pro XL could cost $100 more than the current offering, increasing the gap between the non-Pro and the Pro models.
Citing sources familiar with the situation, Android Headlines reports that the Pixel 10 Pro XL could be more expensive than the current gen Pixel 9 Pro XL by $100. This would put the upcoming phone at $1,200, given that the Pixel 9 Pro XL launched at $1,099. Interestingly, this price increases seems to be exclusive to the XL model as the non-Pro Pixel 10 is said to stay the same as the launch price of the Pixel 9, at $799.
The report further states that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will see a price drop and will cost around $1,600. The current Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at $1,800. Additionally, the 2026 Fold model will be even cheaper, going as low as $1,500. Google is expected to have five phones in the series with the Pixel a-series models arriving later. This is said to continue at least till 2028. Speaking of a-series, the Pixel 10a is expected to cost the same as the Pixel 9a at $499 and this pricing strategy will continue till the Pixel 12a in 2028, according to the report.
As of now, Google has not shared any information on the upcoming Pixel phones so this should be taken with a pinch of salt.
