ESR may be best known for its magnetic accessories for iPhones and smartphones, although it has now transferred that experience to the creation of a new mouse.
The brand asserts that it is the first of its kind to come with a HaloLock dock that can be attached to the lid of a laptop to keep the peripheral near at hand at all times.
The MagMouse has a battery rated for up to 160 hours of use over Bluetooth or 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and to re-charge in as little as 45 minutes via its in-built cable.
The accessory is also backed to ship with 6 different DPI settings (although its max sensitivity remains unknown for now), buttons backed for a click of up to 90% quieter than other mice and a scroll wheel that can also be tilted to the right or left to send the cursor in those directions.
ESR also insists that the user will "scroll smarter and work faster" in appreciable comfort with the new mouse.
Unlike its iPhone cases that sell on Amazon, ESR has elected to debut the MagMouse via Kickstarter, in about 19 days from today (today meaning April 8, 2025).
Until then, the OEM offers a chance to "lock in $8 off" on the innovative accessory, albeit in exchange for a $1 deposit.
