The well-known magnetic accessories manufacturer, ESR, has unveiled its new magnetic wireless mouse, the MagMouse. ESR advertised the wireless mouse as the world’s first magnetically attachable mouse with a built-in charging cable located at the bottom side of the mouse. This also means users never need to carry a separate Type-C cable for charging. Plus, you can easily connect the mouse to your laptop or tablet using a magnetic base.
Under the hood, the mouse houses a 500 mAh battery that supports quick charging, and according to ESR, with just one minute of charging, it provides up to four hours of use, while the full charge takes around 45 minutes and offers up to 160 hours of battery life. The accessory also has six adjustable DPI levels up to 4800 and is compatible with all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iPadOS, Android, Linux, and iOS.
The MagMouse supports dual connectivity via 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.0. Unfortunately, it lacks multi-device connectivity, so you can’t connect the mouse to two devices simultaneously. It features a compact, easy-to-grip, lightweight design, weighing just 75 grams (0.16 lbs.). Other features include a four-way scroll wheel with tilt left or right to effortlessly navigate spreadsheets, timelines, or wide images, and back and forward navigation buttons.
The ESR MagMouse wireless mouse is now available via Kickstarter with a starting price of $36. As a part of the launch offer, the ESR is also offering a super early bird price of $24 (a straight 32% discount on the original price) for early backers.
