Razer has built a Minecraft Collection with green-themed keyboard, mouse, and headset

Razer continues to create collections that put a different spin on its popular gaming gear. After collaborating with Mojang Studios, the manufacturer is finally giving Minecraft its due with block-dominated peripherals. Razer's new Minecraft Collection includes the BlackWidow V4 X keyboard, Kraken V4 X headset, Cobra gaming mouse, and Gigantus V2 mouse pad. Virtual builders can already order the unique-looking accessories from Razer's website.

BlackWidow V4 X

Razer is betting that Minecraft players have pro cable management skills with three new wired offerings. The $169.99 BlackWidow V4 X Minecraft Edition is a full-size alternative to trending compact keyboards. That added space allows for six macro keys, which would be useful if they weren't banned in many servers. Like the rest of the Minecraft Collection, pixelated cubes plaster the sturdy top cover of BlackWidow V4 X. 

Kraken V4 X

With round earcups, the Kraken V4 X doesn't quite match the straight edges of many Minecraft structures. Still, the corded green headset features the famous creeper face on the outside of its well-padded headband. Plush memory foam earpads keep gamers comfortable throughout the longest Minecraft sessions. At $99.99, the Kraken V4 X has obvious appeal for streamers, with RGB lighting and a reliable retractable cardioid mic. 

Cobra and Gigantus V2 Medium

The $59.99 Cobra gaming mouse is the most affordable peripheral in the Razer Minecraft Collection. Its 58-gram weight and slick PTFE feet compensate somewhat for a braided USB cord. A maximum 8500 DPI sensor is far from class-leading, but the Cobra is precise enough to complete most Minecraft projects.

Minecraft mouse pads are already on the market, but the Gigantus V2's ultra-dense foam is designed to be more durable. The surface's pixel-precise accuracy should help builders avoid construction mishaps.

As with Razer's recent Kuromi Collection, buyers will pay an upcharge for the new Minecraft gear. Still, players get the Ender Dragon Shawl in-game item with BlackWidow V4 X and Kraken V4 X. Meanwhile, purchasing the Cobra mouse or Gigantus V2 mousepad unlocks the Overgrown Arm bonus.
