The Basilisk Mobile and Joro attempt to bring a desktop-like experience to mobile gaming. As a compact addition to the Basilisk line, the new Razer gaming mouse sports the same refined ergonomics. The wafer-thin Joro competes with the Apple Magic keyboard while adding gaming performance.

Razer has launched a gaming keyboard and mouse duo for mobile gaming with fewer compromises. The $89.99 wireless Basilisk Mobile is a downsized version of the brand's popular right-handed ergonomic gaming mouse. Meanwhile, the $139.99 Joro diversifies Razer's inventory, as an ultra-thin portable keyboard compatible with PC, Mac, and Bluetooth devices. Both accessories are now available at Razer stores.

The Basilisk Mobile doesn't radically change the concept of its larger counterparts. However, it weighs 76 grams, compared to the beefy 112-gram Basilisk V3 Pro 35K. The new Razer gaming mouse measures 4.4 x 3 x 1.6 inches, making it easier to store in bags. Buyers will still encounter a pronounced thumb-rest and three remappable buttons on its left side. There are 10 customizable inputs, with HyperShift multiplying the commands.

Razer packed a Focus X 18K optical sensor and gen-3 optical switches into its new compact mouse. Unlike the Razer Orochi V2, the Basilisk Mobile isn't dependent on AA or AAA batteries. Instead, it recharges using a USB-C cable for a maximum 105-hour battery life. Unfortunately, it's not designed for existing Razer charging docks. The Basilisk Mobile connects to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices with 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed Wireless or Bluetooth.

Taking slightly more risks, the Joro aims to be the most travel-friendly Razer gaming keyboard. Using low-profile scissor switches, the typing experience should resemble Blade laptops. The Joro checks in at 374 grams and, with a 16.5 mm thickness, utilizes the 75% form factor. As a result, gamers will find directional arrows and dedicated buttons for commands like Page Up and Page Down. The Joro also offers Mac-specific inputs, and Razer plans to release a Mac version of Synapse on May 8th.

Currently, the Joro gaming keyboard is a Bluetooth-only peripheral. Users can toggle between three wireless devices with function keys. Without its single-zone Chroma RGB lighting on, the Joro can last up to 1800 hours on a single charge. In the future, the mobile keyboard will work with the same HyperSpeed wireless dongle as the Basilisk Mobile mouse.

Many of Razer's latest innovations function with the Basilisk Mobile and Joro. With the Joro, competitive gamers can employ Snap Tap to avoid conflicting inputs. As a boost to productivity and gaming, the Razer mouse embraces AI Prompt Master.
