The Epic Games Store is now giving away Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale on PC, which will be available to download for free until May 15 at 14:59 UTC. In recent weeks, the storefront has revealed its plans ahead of schedule, as was case with its latest giveaway. However, it has decided to return to its Mystery Game promotions with two titles from its vaults.
For context, Epic last ran Mystery Game promotions towards the end of February when it provided Cat Quest I, Cat Quest II and Neko Ghost, Jump! across two weeks. The storefront offered sizeable hints across both weeks though, which had fans correctly guessing two of the three games it planned to give away.
This time, it has given no clues about what could be coming around the corner. Nonetheless, fans have been speculating wildly anyway. A few have theorised that this week's Mystery Games will be followed by more next Thursday too. As potential evidence of that, Konami confirmed in March that Deliver At All Costs would be free to download on May 22, which lines right up with Epic's giveaway in a fortnight's time. For reference, Konami will also be releasing Deliver At All Costs on the same day across Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles (curr. $499 on Amazon).
