The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be officially announced on May 13 00:00 UTC but a lot is already known about the phone thanks to a number of leaks and rumors. Ahead of the launch, a new leak containing product images hints at the ultra-slim phone, some accessories, and reiterates some of the expected specifications. The phone is said to be just 5.85 mm thick, making it one of the sleekest smartphones on the market.
The latest leak comes courtesy of Android Headlines who managed to get several photos of the Galaxy S25 Edge and its accessories ahead of the launch. The images show the three expected color options, which isn’t new, but they also point at the same specifications that have been previously leaked. The official looking product page images show a 200 MP primary camera with 2x optical quality zoom, a 12 MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 12 MP selfie camera at the front. They show the phone is built with titanium and has a glass front and back. It is also IP68 dust and water resistant.
Furthermore, the packaging for the Galaxy S25 Edge is said to include the phone, a USB Type-C to C cable, and a SIM removal pin.
Coming to the accessories, three types of cases have been shown. The first one is a silicone case in black, blue, and gray colors. The second is a ‘Kindsuit case’ that has a grippy texture on the back. This one comes in blue, dark gray, and light gray colors. The last one is a simple ‘Clear case.’ The report also shows an anti-reflecting film or screen guard along with its application accessories.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy S25 Edge is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, have 12 GB RAM with 256 GB/512 GB storage options, feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED, 3,120 x 1,440 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate display, and carry a 3,900 mAh battery. The phone will likely weigh 163 grams and cost €1,249 (around $1,415 USD).
