New Samsung 4K QLED TV with 144Hz Motion Xcelerator arrives
Samsung has launched the QN85F 4K Neo QLED TV in Europe. This model sits in the middle of the brand’s 2025 Neo QLED TV range and is available in the following four sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch.
The QN85F TV has a 4K resolution and a native 100 Hz refresh rate, Quantum Matrix Plus and Neo Quantum HDR+ technology. It uses the 2024 NQ4 AI Gen 2 Processor with features like 4K Upscaling and Motion Enhancer Pro, and there is also support for HDR10+. Plus, it offers a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz and Motion Xcelerator 144Hz, which should enhance the gaming experience. Other gaming features include ALLM, Game Motion Plus, Super Ultra Wide Game View and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
Running on Tizen Smart TV OS, users can access a wide range of streaming services, screen share via Apple AirPlay and control the device using the built-in Bixby and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. The integrated 40W 2.2 channel sound system supports Dolby Atmos and comes with features like Object Tracking Sound Lite and Samsung Q-Symphony. You can connect further speakers, a games console, or other devices via the TV’s ports, which include HDMI 2.1, USB-A, LAN, and optical audio. Plus, the TV comes with a SolarCell remote with a button to wake the voice assistant.
You can now pre-order the Samsung QN85F 4K Neo QLED TV in countries like the UK, Italy and Austria. Prices start from £1,499/€1,499 for the 55-inch model; a complete price list can be found below. It is unclear when this model will be available in the US.
