The Xgimi RS 20 Ultra Max projector is now available to pre-order in China. It arrives alongside the RS 20 Pro Max and the RS 20 Plus, topping this new range of smart home projectors. Like several other models from the brand, it comes with an integrated stand, allowing you to adjust the projection angle.
The RS 20 Ultra Max is a 4K tri-color laser projector, said to deliver up to 4,500 CVIA lumens or 5,700 ISO lumens brightness. Xgimi indicates that its performance is comparable to that of some gaming monitors, with 1 ms low latency. There is also support for auto low latency mode (ALLM) and variable refresh rate (VRR).
The X Master lens allows the image to be adjusted with tools like 1.2-1.5:1 optical zoom and vertical and horizontal lens shift. Plus, the model has integrated Harman Kardon speakers, delivering a surround sound experience. It comes as standard with a two-year warranty, though early customers are currently offered an extended five-year warranty.
Xgimi is now accepting pre-orders for the Xgimi RS 20 Ultra Max projector in China, which has an RRP of CNY 13,399 (~$1,850). It remains to be seen whether this model will reach other markets like the US; here, you can already buy models like the Horizon Pro 4K Projector (curr. $849.99 at Amazon).
