Hisense has launched the Vidda C3 Pro 4K projector in China. It arrives alongside the more powerful Vidda C3 Ultra and is a successor to the Vidda C2 Pro, also known as the Hisense C2 Pro.
The Vidda C3 Pro uses the brand’s Trichroma laser light source, which is said to deliver up to 2,800 CVIA lumens brightness. As a reminder, the C3 Ultra has up to 3,200 CVIA lumens brightness. Unfortunately, Hisense has yet to provide brightness measurements for either model that align with an internationally recognised standard like ANSI lumens. The C3 Pro is also marketed as having a high dynamic contrast ratio of 14,000:1, 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color gamut and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Mode.
This Hisense projector has a 0.9-1.5:1 throw ratio, allowing you to project a 100 inch (~254 cm) wide image at a distance of 2 m (~6.6 ft). There is 1.67x lossless zoom, keystone correction, automatic obstacle avoidance and various AI image-enhancing tools. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a range of ports like HDMI 2.1 eARC. Plus, there are two built-in 10W speakers from JBL.
The Hisense Vidda C3 Pro projector is available in China for CNY 9,499 (~$1,318). It remains to be seen whether a version of this projector for markets like North America and Europe will launch. In the meantime, you could consider the Hisense C2 Pro, which is currently $1,997.97 at Amazon.
