More Philips Screeneo projectors are on the way to the US. In a recent announcement, Screeneo Innovation SA, the officially licensed manufacturer of Philips projectors, said that it was making a "strategic entry into the U.S. market", following the rollout of various models in markets like Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Some Philips Screeneo models are already on sale in the US. These include the Screeneo UL5 Smart Laser Projector, which was initially available via an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign but is now on general sale.
In the announcement, the company calls out the Screeneo GamePix 900 which was unveiled at the end of 2024. It joins the recently released GamePix 800; as their name suggests, the GamePix projectors are said to be optimized for gaming. Features of the GamePix 900 include a 4K resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate mode and 6ms latency. Plus, its LED lamp is said to deliver up to 1,000 ANSI lumens brightness. You can currently buy the Screeneo GamePix 900 for $899.
For either home or business use are the Philips ProPix projectors. This range includes ProPix 850, a DLP projector with a Philips 200W UHP lamp for up to 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness. It also offers a 1080p resolution for images up to 150 inches wide with a 1.49:1 throw ratio. This model is cheaper with a $699 RRP (curr. $529 at Amazon).
According to the Screeneo press release, it is bringing six "advanced projector models" to the US. As well as GamePix and ProPix models, there are NeoPix devices with smart TV features and the premium Screeneo home theater projectors. They are available at the brand's online store and will also be sold via Amazon.
