Xgimi has launched the Z6X Pro Tri-Color Laser Edition projector in China. This new model is designed for home theaters, with an integrated tilting stand, making it easy to adjust the projection angle up to 150°.
The Z6X Pro Tri-Color Laser Edition has a native 1080p resolution and a 1,600:1 contrast ratio. As its name suggests, the new model has a tri-color laser for 110% coverage of the BT.2020 color space. According to Xgimi, the projector can deliver up to 910 CVIA lumens brightness; unfortunately, the company does not provide a brightness measurement for an internationally recognised standard like ANSI lumens.
Other features include HDR vivid, AI image enhancement and MEMC motion smoothing. You can perfect the image with tools like keystone correction and autofocus. The projector is powered by the eight-core HiSilicon SoC with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Plus, there are integrated 7W Harmon Kardon speakers and ports including HDMI and USB.
The Xgimi Z6X Pro Tri-Color Laser Edition projector retails in China for CNY 2,699 (~$374). It is unclear whether or when this model could reach other markets like the US. Here, Xgimi already sells a projector with a similar design, the Elfin Flip (curr. $279 at Amazon).
