The Roborock Q10 S5 Robot Vacuum and Mop has quietly rolled out in various countries globally. It is a cheaper model from the brand, which has also recently released the Saros Z70 which has an integrated robotic arm.
The Q10 S5 robot can vacuum with up to 10,000 Pa suction power, using dual anti-tangle brushes. These are a central roller and a smaller side attachment, sweeping up dirt and hair. It also has an Auto Boost feature on carpets to improve performance. There is the VibraRise 2.0 Mopping System, with a fabric cloth vibrating up to 3,000 times per minute. Plus, the mops are lifted by up to 8 mm (~0.3 inches) when carpets are detected to prevent the fabric from getting wet.
According to Roborock, the robot can vacuum an area of up to 1,937 ft² (~180 m²) or for around 150 minutes before recharging at the basic docking station. The robot uses LiDAR to navigate your home and can also detect and avoid obstacles. You can remotely control the Q10 S5 in the Roborock app, accessing features like Auto Boost and customizing the maps. The robot is 13.90 inches (~353 mm) wide, and the dock measures 6.3 x 2.8 x 4.0 inches (~160 x 70 x 101 mm).
You can now buy the Roborock Q10 S5 Robot Vacuum and Mop in the US for $399.99; at Amazon, an $80 coupon reduces the price to $319.99. In Europe, the model is available for £299.99/€289.99.
