After releasing the Onn 4K Pro last year, Walmart is geared to launch a new device in its Onn Google TV streaming box line. This new model, the Onn 4K Plus, leaked weeks ago but has now been relisted on Walmart, indicating an imminent release.
The listing fails to reveal key hardware details of the streaming box, other than the fact that it ships with just 2 GB of RAM. Seeing as the Onn 4K Pro ships with 3 GB, it's evident that the new model is designed to sit beneath it. It's listed at $29.88, too—$10 more than the standard Onn 4K, and $20 less than the Pro version.
It remains to be seen if the upcoming Onn 4K Plus is worth 50% more than the standard Onn 4K, but previous leaks confirmed the presence of a USB C port replacing the barrel port on the Onn 4K, as well as a new processor. That's hardly elite hardware, all considered, but at its listed price, the Onn 4K Plus would still launch as a price-performance champion in its niche, with comparable boxes costing over twice as much.
