The South Korean tech giant LG has announced the 2025 OLED B5-series lineup pricing and availability for the US market. LG has introduced four sizes in the B5 lineup, including 55, 65, 75, and the top-end 83-inch. However, right now, the company has revealed the pricing details for the top-end model only. The 83-inch LG OLED B5 (OLED83B5PUA) is priced at $4,499 and is now available for pre-order via LG’s official website.
As far as features are concerned, like other LG OLED models, the LG B5 also features a 4K UHD OLED panel with 120 Hz native refresh rate support. Plus, the OLED display has Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, Dolby Atmos, and filmaker mode support. Equipped with LG’s flagship OLED technology ensures crisp picture quality with rich blacks and realistic colors.
The B5 is powered by the Alpha 8 AI processor Gen2, paired with a dynamic tone mapping pro algorithm to produce a more detailed image. LG has also added all essential gaming features to the OLED TV, including Nvidia G-Sync, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), AMD FreeSync Premium, and VRR. Additionally, it also has a 0.1 ms response time to ensure smooth, crisp, and lag-free gameplay. Furthermore, the OLED TV also has Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast support, and you can also control the TV via Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Matter, and Apple HomeKit.
LG packs a decent set of connectivity options in the B5, including 4 x HDMI 2.1, 1 x Ethernet, 2 x USB-A, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E. Moreover, it runs LG’s in-house WebOS smart TV platform out of the box, and LG promises five years of software updates with WebOS Re:New.
