Samsung releases new entry-level U8000F 4K Smart TV

The Samsung U8000F 4K Smart TV has been launched in the US. This is a budget model, sitting towards the lower end of the brand’s 2025 TV range. There are a total of eight sizes on offer: 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 58-inch, 65-inch, 70-inch, 75-inch and 85-inch.

Samsung’s U800F has a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) resolution with a native 60Hz refresh rate. Features include Motion Xcelerator 60Hz, Filmmaker Mode and support for HDR10+ and HLG. Powered by the Crystal 4K Processor, it offers tools like 4K upscaling and Color Booster for vibrant color. For gaming, there are tools like auto low latency mode (ALLM), variable refresh rate (VRR) and the brand’s Gaming Hub.

The U800F uses the Tizen Smart TV operating system, through which you can access a range of popular streaming services. According to the product listing, users can choose from over 2,700 free channels, including more than 400 Samsung TV Plus premium channels. Plus, you can wirelessly share content via Apple AirPlay and remotely control the TV with Bixby, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. Samsung Knox Security is said to keep your passwords and other personal information safe. On top of this, Object Tracking Sound Lite helps to make the audio from the integrated 2-channel speakers more immersive. 

These TVs are marketed as having an elegant design with the brand’s MetalStream slim bezel frame. You can now buy the Samsung U8000F at the brand’s online store, at Amazon or at Best Buy.
