Deal | 77-inch LG C6 OLED TV sees $1690 discount, with Tandem tech brightening gaming and movies

The LG C6 was already a tempting alternative to the flagship G6 OLED TV. However, when it debuted in March 2026, the 77-inch C6H model introduced an upgraded Tandem panel. The technology amplifies brightness and color volume in gaming and movie content.

As with most new LG TVs, the main drawback of the C6 was its $3699 launch MSRP. Fortunately, with a Greentoe deal, it’s dropped to $1911.45, $889 below the lowest Amazon sale price.

Tandem perks

Only the 77-inch and 83-inch variations of the display use a Tandem OLED panel. The added brightness makes the 4K TV a closer match for light-cannon Mini LEDs. Saturated colors avoid becoming washed out during games or nature shows with brilliant scenery.

Unlike Mini LED options, the C6 generates a near-infinite contrast ratio. Black levels aren’t noticeably impacted by sunshine pouring through windows. The LG TV is an appealing choice for spaces lacking light control, though its reflection handling isn't top-notch.

The C5 successor benefits from a revamped AI-powered processor. It enables it to adapt to changing room conditions, maximizing picture quality. Upscaling older movies and TV shows also produces a cleaner 4K image.

The discounted 77-inch OLED TV is a tempting purchase for gamers unimpressed by smaller monitors. In the Rtings review, testers measured imperceptible input lag. PC users can set a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz with G-Sync and FreeSync Premium to keep the action smooth. The set supports a 120 Hz mode and VRR on Xbox and PS5 consoles.

C6H vs the competition

For the significant price disparity, the advantages of investing more money in the G6 are limited. While usually considered the best LG OLED TV, both ship with Tandem panels. More notable than the peak-brightness differences is the G6's superior anti-reflective coating.

Another flagship contender, the Samsung S95H, boasts a glare-rejecting matte surface. Regardless, the 77-inch LG C6 on sale at Greentoe for $1911.45 offers similar performance at a much lower price.
