LG's QNED84B Mini LED series launches in the US across five sizes, from $730 for the 55-inch model, to $4,000 for the 100-inch giant. It brings the Alpha 8 Gen 3 chip and Dynamic QNED Color Pro to the mid-tier, stepping down to Precision Dimming Pro versus LG's flagship QNED90 lineup.

Alongside its gigantic 115-inch QNED92BU TV, LG has also added the QNED84B series to its US storefront - a five-model Mini LED lineup spanning 55 to 100 inches. The range sits below the flagship QNED90 series in LG's 2026 LCD hierarchy. Pricing starts at $729.99 for the 55-inch and climbs to $3,999.99 for the 100-inch flagship of the series. All models are available now through LG and major retailers, including Best Buy.

These are 4K Mini LED TVs across all five sizes. Backlighting is controlled via Precision Dimming Pro - not the higher-end Precision Dimming Ultra that LG reserves for its QNED90-series sets. In practice, this means fewer local dimming zones and less precise contrast control, particularly in dark scenes where blooming around bright objects can be more visible. LG hasn't published exact zone counts for any of its QNED models.

Color coverage uses Dynamic QNED Color Pro with Intertek-certified 100% Color Volume, same as the higher-end QNED92B. The display supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 Pro, HLG, and Filmmaker Mode with Ambient Light Technology. Peak brightness hasn't been officially disclosed.

The Alpha 8 AI Processor Gen 3 handles picture processing, upscaling, and audio across the lineup. AI Super Upscaling pushes lower-resolution content toward 4K, and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro handles HDR grading adjustments in real time. Audio output is via a 2.2-channel speaker system with Dolby Atmos support - AI Sound Pro creates a virtual surround experience from those built-in drivers.

VRR tops out at 144 Hz, with a 288 Hz Motion Booster mode at reduced resolution. ALLM is supported. This makes the QNED84B a capable gaming screen but a step behind the QNED92B, which reaches 165 Hz VRR and 330 Hz Motion Booster. For console users gaming at 4K/120 Hz, neither difference is likely to be felt. The gap is more relevant for PC gamers pushing higher frame rates at 1080p.

webOS 26 is also included with Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot integration, alongside a Sports Portal for live scores and alerts, and LG's Gaming Portal for cloud streaming services. LG has confirmed no HDMI 2.2 or Dolby Vision 2 support across any of its 2026 TV lineup.
