New Hisense Vidda LightGo portable projector launches

Hisense has launched the Vidda LightGo, an outdoor tri-color laser projector, in China. This new model was unveiled alongside four Vidda C5 series laser projectors at a recent event in this country.
The Hisense Vidda LightGo is a 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 px) projector. Its QuaLas42 laser light source is said to deliver up to 1,300 CVIA lumens brightness; the company has yet to provide a brightness measurement linked to an internationally recognised standard like ISO or ANSI lumens. With 1.0-1.3:1 lossless optical zoom, you can project a 100 inch wide image at a distance of 2.2 m (~7.2 ft). The model is also said to cover 110% of the BT.2020 color space.
According to Hisense, the Vidaa LightGo could be used for gaming with features like variable refresh rate (VRR). It comes with image-perfecting tools such as automatic keystone correction and an adjustable angle stand. This model has built-in 2.0 channel speakers, compatible with Dolby and DTS audio technologies. Plus, thanks to the integrated 20,000 mAh battery, this is a truly portable projector, and it is relatively lightweight at 2.1 kg (~4.6 lbs).
In China, you can now buy the Hisense Vidda LightGo portable projector for CNY 3,999 (~$588). The company has yet to announce plans to bring this model to other markets like the US, where it already sells home theater models like the M2 Pro laser projector (curr. $1,099.99 at Amazon).
